Getting to Cabo
There are several major US airlines that fly direct into Cabo San Lucas. Southwest Airlines, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines and United Airlines are just a few. Stepping off the airplane is like stepping into a different world. There are a few ways to get to Villa La Estancia from the airport. The airport is located 22 miles from Villa La Estancia.
Airport Transportation Options
Take a taxi, shuttle bus, private car service or rent a car at the airport (there is underground secure parking at La Estancia).

Most major car rental agencies such as Avis and Hertz are available at the airport; however, you need to make your rental reservation in advance.
Money
Almost all purchases can be made on Mexican pesos or US dollars. We recommend using an authorized money exchange in order to get the official rate of the exchange. There is an ATM on-site and credit cards are generally accepted.
Getting to Town
Villa La Estancia is located one mile from Cabo San Lucas so a rental car is not necessary since taxi vans are easily assessable anywhere in Cabo.
The Weather
Cabo San Lucas is located below the Tropic of Cancer with an average temperature of 78 degrees. I believe it is the perfect climate. The weather is always warm during the day, though the evenings can cool down somewhat. The San Jose del Cabo Region is on Mountain Time.
